Wear Proper Footwear & Be Cautious on Trails: The trail to the base and the top of the falls can be slippery, rocky, and steep, especially after rain. Wear non-slip hiking shoes and move carefully to avoid injuries or falls.
Avoid Bathing During High Water Flow: The current can be extremely strong during the rainy season (May–September). Do not bathe or go near the edge of the falls when water flow is high, it can be very dangerous.
Visit During Daylight – Leave Before Dusk: The best time to visit is early morning to late afternoon. Avoid staying after 5:00 PM as light fades quickly, and the forest paths can become unsafe and difficult to navigate.
