Lamprais, nicknamed "lump rice," is a Dutch Burgher-influenced dish from Sri Lanka's colonial era, featuring stock-cooked rice, mixed meat curry, frikkadels (meatballs), seeni sambol, and other accompaniments all wrapped in a banana leaf and baked together, blending the flavors into one aromatic, self-contained parcel unique to the island's heritage.
